The Rookie Program

Eligibility requirements:
- Enrolled in a Dutch University (not online) in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program for the entire duration of the program (full 5 months).
- Be an EU citizen passport holder or a Non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands (internship should be a mandatory part of your curriculum).

As an Under Armour intern, you'll play a crucial role in bringing our mission and vision to life through a hands-on project that challenges you to develop new skills and push boundaries.
Purpose of Role
STRATEGIC PROJECT: Project Javelin is a Mobile Speed Initiative targeted for the EMEA region, with the goal of:
- Meeting mobile consumer expectations for web speed.
- Protecting SEO rankings and retaining more organic traffic.
- Presenting an app-like feel and experience for easier customer browsing and purchase.
QA Engineer Responsibilities:
- Attend Agile ceremonies, get QA tasks from the scrum board, and own the testing process of your responsibility area.
- Prepare test cases, execute them, report issues, and verify the testing scope.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Engineering, Delivery) to identify and manage QA dependencies, scope, and acceptance criteria.
- Proactively participate in Agile ceremonies like Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Sprint Reviews.
Your Impact
- Participate in multiple cross-functional product development teams.
- Ensure full-stack functionality and user-facing features are thoroughly tested before release to minimize bugs (UI and UX analysis).
- Define the testing scope of tickets assigned to you.
- Work closely with technical analysts & business stakeholders to verify functional testing.
- Keep project artifacts up to date in business systems like Confluence and JIRA.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in digital, computer science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of agile principles and scrum processes.
- Basic knowledge in performing root cause, change impact, and risk-based test analysis.
