The Role / Responsibilities:

  • As a QA Automation Engineer, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to

  • solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

  • Build, execute and maintain automated test scripts, assuring continuous testing process.

  •  Help establish automation best practices and drive adoption across the QA team.

  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.

  • Participate in Agile events (daily stand ups, sprint planning, grooming, and sprint

  • retrospectives)

  • Participate in sprint demos to showcase progress to the business stakeholders.

  • Document and/or review testing results working closely with developers and product owners

  • to resolve reported issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3 years’ experience in developing automated test cases in at least on high-level programming
  • language. 1 year of SDET/CI/CD/test automation experience.
  • 1 year experience writing automation using Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Ability to work in an Agile team environment and handle changing priorities.
  • Ability to communicate with and present to engineers, senior management and relevant
  • stakeholders.
  • Experience with API testing and microservices.
  • Good database skills.
  • Experience with Application performance tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics) a plus.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is [[$89,700]] –  [[$113,100]], depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
