About the role
As a Game QA Certification Tester, your primary responsibility will be to focus on the certification technical testing of first-party platform requirements across the various platforms we support.
Our global Game QA team conducts functionality and compliance checks on a range of yet-to-be-released games for multiple platforms, including PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, VR, and various mobile and tablet devices. You will have the opportunity to work on top gaming titles from some of the world’s leading AAA publishers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report high-quality defects in accordance with certification guidelines for multiple platforms.
- Regularly report quality certification bugs while also reporting functional bugs as found.
- Executing assigned tests accurately and sufficiently to have confidence in documented results.
- Reporting results in a clear and concise manner into a bug database.
- Regresses assigned issues and validates that the issues have been addressed correctly and provide responses to emails when required.
- Escalates any issues preventing/impacting test execution and provide feedback regarding test approach and test case improvement.
- Complete test cases for assigned projects and helps maintain up-to-date and accurate test suites.
- Assist in the creation of documentation to ensure knowledge base resources remain current and reliable
- Any other tasks associated with GQA Certification Testing.
Requirements
- Ideally, six months of experience in Game QA Certification, specializing in console compliance testing across multiple platforms.
- Proficient in English at a C1 level.
- Strong understanding of first-party systems and requirements.
- Capable of testing independently and conducting research when unsure about a potential issue.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of productivity that ensures efficient and accurate results.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and bug database software.
- Thorough understanding of test cycles and processes.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes.
- Experience with bug tracking tools.
- Ability to meet deadlines with excellent attention to detail.
- Must be located in Portugal or be an EU citizen willing to relocate to work on-site at our studio in Braga.
- Must provide evidence of the Right to Work in Portugal.

Working Condition:
- On-Site in our Studio in Braga, Portugal
- 8:00 to 17:00, Mondays through Fridays
