Junior QA Engineer (Manual)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Junior QA Engineer to join our POKKT team (Mobile Advertising Platform solution) In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and performance of our POKKT platform, contributing to the overall success of our cutting-edge products. You will work closely with senior QA engineers to identify, report, and track issues, ensuring our POKKT platform delivers an exceptional user experience.

What You'll Do

• Create and execute functional and non-functional test plans, cases, and scripts
• Conduct manual testing of software applications to ensure they meet quality standards
• Perform regression testing to identify and report software defects and inconsistencies
• Test REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints for data integrity and functionality
• Utilize SQL for database testing and data validation
• Analyzing test results and reporting to the development team.
• Investigate and troubleshoot reported issues to determine root causes and verify fixes
• Manage test cases and track defects using JIRA and Confluence
• Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Work and communicate with product management and business team to enhance software quality

Who You Are

• 1 year of experience as a manual QA engineer or similar role
• Proven experience in testing REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints
• Proven experience in using SQL skills for database testing and data manipulation
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in English communication skills

Nice To Have

• Good knowledge of programmatic advertisement
• Good knowledge of publisher’s business
• Good knowledge with Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of performance testing and security testing concepts.
• Experience with testing mobile applications and cross-browser testing.
• Experience in using the automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress)
