Junior QA Engineer

Description

We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our team and contribute to the quality assurance process of our projects. You will be responsible for developing test plans, executing tests across various phases, and ensuring the resolution of defects. This role requires a strong understanding of operating systems, network technologies, and database concepts.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and test cases based on Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS).
• Execute tests across multiple phases, including preparation, integration, and FAT execution.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring their resolution.
• Troubleshoot issues observed during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

• Education: University or College Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
• Experience: At least 2 years in software testing (considered an asset).
• Strong command of Unix-based and Windows Server operating systems.
• Good understanding of network technologies and communications.
• Familiarity with database usage and concepts (Oracle DB, SQL Server).
• Knowledge of mobile phone technologies (iOS, Android).
• Experience with Jira/Zephyr or other testing suites.
• Previous experience in Video Lottery Terminals (VLT) testing will be considered an asset.
• Excellent command of Greek and English (both written and spoken).
• Completed military obligations (for male candidates).
