What you will do:
- Design, develop, and document application test scenarios and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications for all product offerings.
- Create, implement, and maintain test coverage for regulatory technology applications.
- Collaborate in an Agile team with QA Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers to shape product offerings.
- Execute testing for each sprint or testing phase and conduct exploratory testing during development.
- Analyse and document bugs and customer issues using Jira, ensuring proper tracking and reporting on testing activities.
- Prioritize testing tasks, scenarios, and test cases effectively.
- Follow and contribute to QA process improvements to ensure consistency and standardization across product lines.
Requirements
- Level 7 or 8 degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Science, Commerce, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills to identify comprehensive test scenarios.
- Good understanding of test automation concepts.
- Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Protractor.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Basic understanding of BDD frameworks and tools like Cucumber.
- Experience with test script creation.
- Knowledge of database testing.
- Familiarity with QA processes and methodologies, with the ability to create effective test cases.
- Experience in regression testing, compatibility testing, system testing, black-box testing, and UAT.
