All about the role

As part of Scoober, the main focus of the Salesforce team is to ensure continuous development of the courier recruitment and engagement platform for multiple teams to successfully hire, onboard, and engage with our couriers.

As a Junior QA Engineer, you should have strong core skills and will be responsible for the Quality of the system.

Can you deliver

As a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer, You Will Be Exposed To Several Business And Technical Challenges And You Will Need To

• Plan and execute tests on specific areas according to project features and milestones, including both manual and automated tests
• Design, create, implement and maintain test cases using test management tools
• Deliver feedback and reports to the development team
• Working with other QA engineers to improve processes and documentation and share knowledge of the system amongst the team
• Identify, report, update and track bugs in JIRA
• Work side-by-side with the development teams in assisting with bug investigation (reporting, reproduction, isolation) to ensure the team is achieving the planned milestones
• Actively participating in the Agile software development cycle within a cross-functional team environment

What will you bring to the table?

• Assisting in the planning and executing tests for specific project features and milestones, covering both manual and automated testing.
• Experience with issue tracking tools (e.g. JIRA) and test case management tools (e.g. Test Rail)
• Experience with testing RESTful APIs
• Experience working with Git and CI tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
• Some experience with Java/JavaScript-based E2E frameworks like Cypress, Playwright
• Some experience with NoSQL and/or SQL databases (e.g. MongoDB) is a plus
• Big plus to have experience with any messaging framework like Apache Kafka
• Big plus to have experience with working or testing in Salesforce
• Experience and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development system
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
