Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of our SaaS products. The primary responsibilities will involve manual testing of features such as authentication, payments, and user flows, as well as writing and maintaining comprehensive test cases. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of technical concepts and experience with test management systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough manual testing of SaaS applications, focusing on areas like authentication, payments, and user workflows.
  • Write, maintain, and execute test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of all functionalities.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, providing detailed steps for developers to reproduce problems.
  • Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Insomnia, validating HTTP flows and ensuring correct functionality.
  • Work with JSON and JWT to validate data structures and security protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure deliverables meet high-quality standards.
  • Maintain and improve test management processes using tools like X-Ray, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer with SaaS products.
  • Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques and best practices.
  • Familiarity with API testing, tools like Postman, Insomnia, and HTTP request/response cycles.
  • Understanding of technical concepts like JSON, JWT, and HTTP flows.
  • Hands-on experience with test management systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills to clearly report findings and collaborate with team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with automation testing (optional but a plus).
  • Knowledge and experience with security testing of web applications.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and how testing integrates into the development workflow.
