Job Title: QA Analyst – Consumer Web & Internal Platforms
Schedule: M-F, 9AM - 6PM Pacific Time
Salary: $1000-1500/month
A fast-growing consumer brand is deploying code multiple times a week across its busy e-commerce site, mobile apps, and internal tools. To ensure quality and reliability, we’re looking for detail-oriented QA professionals who can identify issues before end-users do—protecting both revenue and internal workflows.
To expedite the process, please complete the Test Gorilla assessment upon submitting your application. Only candidates who complete the assessment will be prioritized: https://app.testgorilla.com/s/obiuwyft
Responsibilities:
- Validate all new builds through smoke, sanity, regression, cross-browser/device, and UAT testing on web and native mobile platforms.
- Conduct comprehensive edge-case testing, especially around checkout and promotional flows, to ensure flawless performance.
- Develop and maintain detailed, reusable test cases using TestRail or similar tools.
- Create clear and actionable defect reports in Jira for smooth resolution by the engineering team.
- Identify and report functional and visual regressions across various breakpoints, mobile devices, and internal dashboards.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to support “go/no-go” decisions, providing early insights and driving root-cause fixes.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of QA experience in high-traffic consumer products or SaaS platforms.
- Proven expertise in testing both web storefronts and native mobile apps (Android & iOS).
- Strong command of test-case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, Xray) and bug tracking tools like Jira or Clubhouse.
- Excellent attention to detail for spotting device-specific bugs, edge cases in checkout/payment, and analytics/data tag issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work during Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours.
- Basic knowledge of automation tools like Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or API testing suites such as Postman or Newman.
- Experience testing both consumer-facing platforms and internal tools while managing separate charters to avoid overlap.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent)
