Who you are:

  • Proven experience as a QA Analyst within an Agile environment.
  • Experienced in testing on-premise and cloud-based ETL/BI solutions built using Microsoft technologies.
  • Curious and proactive, asking questions such as:
    • "Who will be using this product?"
    • "Why is this being built?"
    • "Is this the most efficient way to build this?"
    • "Where could this go wrong?"
  • A great communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to prioritize effectively.
  • Experienced with QNXT, claims processing, healthcare insurance, and SQL.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical with a growth mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the highest quality standards for products within an Agile team.
  • Test ETL and Analytical solutions built on Microsoft on-premise and cloud technologies.
  • Design, develop, and execute test cases, providing quality assurance insights to team members.
  • Create and document test plans and acceptance test cases for both simple and complex solutions.
  • Manage complex testing tasks, including requirements review, prioritization, and issue resolution.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and effectively communicate solutions through review meetings, written specifications, workflow diagrams, or proof-of-concept demonstrations.
  • Suggest improvement practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure defects are accurately documented, escalated, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Perform research and analysis to test reported issues and requirements using technical tools as needed.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • 3+ years in quality assurance.
  • Experience testing solutions developed with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Reporting Services, PowerBI, and Azure Databricks.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Jira and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Understanding of QNXT and health insurance.
  • Able to anticipate, identify, track, and resolve technical issues and risks.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range: $67,725 - $155,508 / ANNUAL Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
