QA Engineer / Senior QA Engineer

- Design and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications, APIs, and mobile apps.

• Utilize Android/iOS emulators and simulators for mobile app testing.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or JMeter.
• Validate software against requirements and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain automation tests for mobile, API, and web applications.
• Enhance and improve the test automation framework.
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure seamless integration of quality practices.
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum processes, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 4 years overall experience in QA roles with at least 1 year of experience in automation.
• Proven experience in QA with a strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Ruby, Python, or JavaScript, with experience in test automation frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Experience with automated testing using Ruby on Rails, Rspec, Capybara, and Selenium is a strong plus but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work during US Eastern Time hours and maintain a reliable remote work setup and they must have their own system/work setup for remote work.
