Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing detailed test plans for our software and systems. You will collaborate closely with developers to identify and prioritize defects, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy up to software release.

This position reports to the Head of QA.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans for various components of our software and systems.
  • Collaborate closely with developers in an Agile software development environment.
  • Identify, report, and prioritize defects; actively participate in defect management processes.
  • Compare test findings with business requirements, methodologies, and procedures to ensure alignment.
  • Maintain and expand the automation test suite to enhance efficiency and coverage.
  • Ensure that high standards of quality and accuracy are maintained throughout the software release cycle.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar QA Engineer role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of test methodologies, including writing test plans, creating test cases, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium, Mocha, Playwright, or similar.
  • Extensive experience in API testing, including proficiency with JSON and XML formats.
  • Solid technical skills for defect analysis and resolution.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility in working hours.
  • Previous experience in the fintech industry - an advantage.
