Job Description
We are looking for a passionate QA Engineer who is ready to make a difference in software testing. As a QA Engineer, you'll help improve our testing processes using both manual and automation techniques. You will have the opportunity to learn and work with the Playwright automation framework, helping us make our testing more efficient and reliable. Your main tasks will include identifying, documenting, and reporting any bugs or issues you find.
This position is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented and has good communication skills. We want to hear from you if you are excited about learning how to execute test plans and maintain high-quality standards.
Your goal in this role is to ensure the functionality and reliability of our products, applications, and systems.
What You Will Do:
- Learn and understand system specifications thoroughly.
- Work closely with Software Test Engineers to develop innovative strategies and test plans, with a focus on automation.
- Assist in designing and implementing automated test cases using Playwright, aiming to improve traditional testing methods.
- Review product code to ensure it meets specified criteria.
- Help create logs that track and analyze testing phases for ongoing improvement.
- Communicate bugs and errors to development teams, emphasizing automated solutions.
- Participate in troubleshooting using automation tools and techniques.
- Conduct post-release/implementation testing with a focus on automation.
- Collaborate with different teams to promote quality and efficiency in all parts of the software development process through automation.
In the First Six Months, You'll:
- Gain an in-depth understanding of our systems, reimagining testing requirements with a focus on automation.
- Establish a robust testing strategy that enhances product quality.
- Identify and document a substantial number of bugs and errors, not just contributing to but revolutionizing our software refinement process with automated solutions.
Must Haves:
- Some atleast two years of experience or strong interest in a QA Tester role, with a focus on learning and growing skills in automation.
- Basic knowledge or willingness to learn about automation tools like the Playwright framework.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors accurately.
- Interest in automated regression testing and a desire to develop expertise in this area.
- Familiarity with or eagerness to learn about test management software (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
- Good communication skills, with an openness to learning how to advocate for automated testing solutions.
- Attention to detail and a willingness to develop analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in an automated testing environment.
- Strong organizational skills and a curiosity about innovation in automation.
Nice to Have:
- Basic understanding or interest in AI and machine learning tools for enhancing test automation, predictive analysis, and defect analytics.
- Willingness to learn how to use AI-driven tools for test data generation to ensure comprehensive and effective test coverage.
- A curious and innovative mindset with a strong interest in applying AI and machine learning techniques to improve and streamline testing processes.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
- Constantly work with computers and other information technology equipment
