Responsibilities: Ability to perform the following duties with minimal supervision and degree of autonomy. - Logging and tracking bugs in a bug database. - Maintaining a healthy bug database throughout all phases of the bug life cycle: from creation to regression. - Coordinating with various stakeholders among the studio, while adapting to specific needs of teammates or departments. - Actively involved in the implementation of new QA process, game features, and overall QA department initiative across the studio. Job Requirements:
- Must be able to work on-site in Bellevue, WA.
- 1+ year experience testing console games.
- Game Studio QA experience.
- Experience logging bugs into databases.
- In-depth understanding of the development cycle of a game, from early iterative phases of development, to later stage polish.
- In addition, an understanding of how the development stages of a game impact QA’s efforts and focuses.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work M-F 10 am – 6:30 pm and available for overtime when needed. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using in-house or project-specific debugging tools.
- Degree or experience in game industry related field.
- Experience training/mentoring fellow members of a team.
- Actively contributed in a QA role on at least one shipped game.
- Experience with JIRA, Visual Studio, and PS5 Devkits.
- Full working knowledge of SONY TRCs and compliance testing methodologies. Instructions:
