About the Role

The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst will be integral in ensuring the quality of solutions developed by BlueVector AI. This individual will be responsible for developing QA test plans and test cases based on business and technical requirements. The QA Analyst will conduct comprehensive testing activities to ensure that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality as defined by these requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the overall quality of systems and technology released into the client production environment.
  • Plan and create testing documentation, and execute test cases against acceptance criteria.
  • Validate and confirm that final quality assurance has been achieved using both manual processes and automated tools available in the BVAI environment.
  • Track and report quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status.
  • Document all testing defects and report them back to the cloud consultants or developers.
  • Support defect troubleshooting and resolution, including end-to-end integration testing.
  • Work closely with the cloud consultants, developers, and solution architects to address any defects, support unit testing, and provide feedback on acceptance criteria, ensuring final quality sign-off.
  • Identify any data-related requirements for QA testing and communicate with the project team and Project Manager in a timely manner to ensure that any data needs are covered to support the project timelines.
  • Maintain and keep test data up to date with any changing client requirements during support engagements.
  • Test and own all quality assurance testing and related approvals inside an Agile framework.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a QA Analyst, particularly with enterprise application development projects in government and healthcare sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in testing methodologies, test plan, test case, and test data creation.
  • Out-of-the-box problem-solving skills and forethought into the complexity of a solution, ensuring the final test plan touches on all components of the solution.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in QA.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with QA tools and software such as JIRA, Asana, Monday.com, Confluence.
  • Ability to work within fixed timelines and budgets.
  • API testing experience.
  • GCP environment experience and Google product suite experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Eight hours plus per day: speaking on the telephone, entering and retrieving data from the computer.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
  • Sit, stand, and walk extended periods of time in office or at external functions.
  • Ability to travel.

Conditions of Employment

  • The position is an excepted appointment subject to background investigation and drug screen.

Pay

  • $80,000 - $100,000 annually
