We're heavily investing in technology, enhancing system capabilities, and nurturing skilled technologists.

Quality remains paramount in our operations, with our Engineers - QA collaborating closely in agile Product Teams. They work alongside Business Solutions Specialists, Developers, and Architects to uphold the quality of our applications and systems.

We're seeking candidates with a robust background in quality assurance and testing, encompassing both manual and automated methods. Experience in retail and associated software development and implementation is crucial, especially in omnichannel environments spanning online ecommerce, payment, physical stores, B2B operations, inventory, and supply chain management.

The primary responsibilities of an Engineer - QA include defining testing scope, crafting and executing test plans and cases, and diligently reporting defects to maintain the highest standard of quality across our retail applications.

As our Quality Assurance Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Develop automated and manual test cases for comprehensive validation of functionality.
  • Execute tests throughout the development lifecycle and maintain a repository of regression tests.
  • Communicate progress and challenges to the team.
  • Raise, follow up, and resolve discrepancies between expected and actual results.
  • Contribute to test data preparation and advocate for quality assurance best practices.

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART

Put simply, for this role the key things we’re looking for are:

  • Proficient in test automation with C# or similar languages, and familiarity with deployment pipelines like Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Jenkins.
  • Extensive experience in quality assurance within agile frameworks, particularly Scrum, and testing applications/platforms related to Wholesale/B2B sales operations, EDI, warehouse/inventory management, and B2B order fulfilment.
  • Skilled in non-UI testing methods using test drivers, simulators, harnesses, and API tools such as SwaggerUI, Postman, and SoapUI.
  • Ability to run SQL queries on databases to validate test outcomes, along with experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance (and Operations) for B2B operations and familiarity with B2B/EDI platforms like OpenText and JOOR.
  • Exposure to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), supply chain planning tools like Blue Yonder, end-to-end supply chain management, Atlassian Jira, Zephyr Scale, testing IBM Sterling OMS, and testing ecommerce on SAP Commerce Cloud.
