Senior QA Engineer

Aqueducts Technologies is seeking a Senior QA Engineer passionate about enhancing product quality through innovative automated testing strategies for our customer in the Greater Boston Area on a Hybrid basis. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our vast array of products, working closely with our DevOps team to integrate seamless testing into CI/CD pipelines. Your expertise in automation will drive continuous improvement and excellence in our product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and strategies, with a strong focus on Cypress for end-to-end testing.
• Work closely with the DevOps team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring a seamless and efficient deployment process.
• Lead the development and execution of test plans and cases for a diverse set of projects, emphasizing automation and scalability.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and issues, improving product quality and user satisfaction.
• Collaborate with software development teams to advocate for best practices in code quality and testing.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in QA automation and testing methodologies, advocating for their adoption to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and innovation within the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA automation, with significant experience in implementing and managing Cypress tests.
• Proficient in automated testing tools and frameworks, with a strong emphasis on Cypress for end-to-end testing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and cloud services (AWS, GCP) integration.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• A proactive team player with a track record of delivering quality projects to successful completion.
