About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team. As a Senior QA Engineer at Bits, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing and implementing effective test strategies, performing manual and automated tests, and identifying and resolving quality issues.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Execute manual and automated tests to identify software defects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of software releases
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive the implementation of best practices
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to communicate and prioritize bugs and issues
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software testing

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge and experience in manual and automated testing
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience in the fintech industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
