Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in software quality assurance with complex web applications, with a balanced focus on manual and automated testing.
- Solid manual testing skills.
- Experience in backend and frontend testing, ability to identify root cause.
- Proficiency in automation frameworks and tools, specifically TestNG, Rest Assured, and Selenium.
- Knowledge of Java for test automation development.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Proficiency in REST, and API testing, including integration testing and test automation.
- Proficiency with tools like Postman.
- Experience performing and directing cross-browser testing.
- Excellent analytical skills to investigate complex systems and create detailed reports.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and focus on quality.
- Team player, self-motivated, good communicator, driven and committed.
- Knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Kanban) methodologies
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international team environment.
- At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English.
Nice to have skills
- Experience in the healthcare or genetic testing industry.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Knowledge of performance and security testing practices.
- Experience with other automation tools and frameworks.
- Understanding of databases, including MySQL.
- Knowledge of RabbitMQ.
- Experience with SalesForce.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality including functional, integration, end-to-end, and regression scenarios.
- Collaborate with cross-functional distributed teams to understand project requirements and define testing strategies.
- Implement and maintain automated test scripts using TestNG, Rest Assured, and Selenium.
- Analyze requirements, clarify details with stakeholders, and document findings.
- Maintain clear reports on testing results and identified issues.
- Monitor and improve testing processes by identifying areas for optimization and proposing automation strategies to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Create detailed and well-structured test documentation, including test validation plans, test cases, checklists etc.
- Optimize and debug test cases to ensure reliable test results.
- Conduct testing activities according to established SDLC, report clear and thorough bugs.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily, planning, grooming, brainstorming sessions, etc.
