About the Role

The Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst is vital in ensuring the quality of solutions developed by BlueVector AI. This role involves developing a broad range of automated and manual QA test plans and procedures based on business and technical requirements. The Senior QA Analyst will lead comprehensive testing activities to ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality. This role also helps define the long-term QA strategy for BlueVector AI’s solutions and client implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in project requirements gathering and sprint planning to ensure QA best practices are integral to all solutions.
  • Design and build automated testing procedures based on project requirements.
  • Support best practices, templates, processes, and procedures for QA roles.
  • Manage and mentor junior QA analysts.
  • Ensure the overall quality of systems and technology released into the client production environment.
  • Plan and create testing documentation, and execute test cases against acceptance criteria.
  • Validate final quality assurance using both manual processes and automated tools within the BVAI environment.
  • Track and report quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status.
  • Document all testing defects and report them to cloud consultants or developers.
  • Support defect troubleshooting and resolution, including end-to-end integration testing.
  • Work closely with cloud consultants, developers, and solution architects to address defects, support unit testing, and provide feedback on acceptance criteria.
  • Identify data-related requirements for QA testing and communicate with the project team and Project Manager to ensure data needs are covered.
  • Maintain and update test data with changing client requirements during support engagements.
  • Own all quality assurance testing and related approvals within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an SDET or Lead QA Analyst, particularly in building automated test frameworks for enterprise application development projects in government and healthcare sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in QA.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with QA tools and sprint planning software such as JIRA, Asana, Monday.com.
  • Ability to work within fixed timelines and budgets.
  • API testing experience.
  • GCP environment experience and Google product suite knowledge is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Speaking on the telephone, entering, and retrieving data from the computer for eight hours plus per day.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods in the office or at external functions.
  • Ability to travel.

Conditions of Employment

  • The position is an excepted appointment subject to a background investigation and drug screening.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $110,000 - $130,000 annually
