Millennium Health LLC is an accredited specialty laboratory with more than a decade of experience in medication monitoring and drug testing services, helping clinicians monitor the use and misuse of prescription medications and illicit drugs. The testing is used by healthcare professionals to obtain objective information about patients’ recent use of prescription medications and/or illicit drugs and helps monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans.
Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer will develop, publish, and execute acceptance test plans for complex, multi-tier, Data Services platform throughout the full lifecycle of system integration and business intelligence and advanced analytics development.

Work cross-functionally to ensure individual quality and testing needs are met. Update status regularly during testing cycles.

Implement quality assurance practices and procedures, acceptance test plans and other QA assessments.

Document standards and best practices for testing Millennium’s Data Services platform.

Work directly with the Data Services team to understand project concepts, objectives, and approaches.

Help to define scope of all levels of QA testing.

Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, and automation testing of Data Services platform.

Establish the purpose and deliverables of the test effort.

Identify, escalate, and help resolve issues that impede testing efforts.

Ensure the intent of a requirement is satisfied.

Collaborate with Data Services development team during all stages of projects to provide in process testing results.

Track and adequately report defects using appropriate tools to allow developers to resolve the problem.

Potential Hiring Range:
- Pay Range: $90,000-$105,000/year
- Salary offered is dependent on qualifications, experience, and geographical location
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems
- 2+ years of experience with SQL
- 2+ years of experience developing and/or testing enterprise reporting tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
- 2+ years testing data pipelines utilizing etl platforms (SSIS, Snaplogic, Informatica, etc.)
- Competency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.)
- Experience writing acceptance test plans or test scripts based on requirements.
- Experience with Test Management tools
- Experience documenting issues and working with developers to resolve issues.
- Experience working with relational databases
- Knowledge of data modeling and data warehouse concepts a plus
- HL7 interface testing experience a plus
- Lab information systems experience a plus
- HIPAA compliance experience strongly desired
