We’re a team of all-star engineers and operators, backed by $4m from top investors such as Y Combinator and Pear VC, applying our intellect and logistics experience to upend how home healthcare is delivered.

About You — The Role

You’re a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for ensuring that software runs smoothly and meets high-quality standards. We’re looking for a QA Software Engineer who can lead testing efforts and work across teams to ensure that our platform scales while maintaining excellence.

Our dream candidate is someone with experience testing at both large-scale systems and fast-growing startups, using automation to streamline processes and manual testing to ensure edge cases are covered. You’ll collaborate closely with our engineers to catch bugs before they become problems and help us maintain a secure, high-performing platform for our users.

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain automated tests for both front-end and back-end systems, ensuring thorough coverage.

Design test cases for new features, working closely with product managers and developers to understand requirements.

Perform manual testing when needed, especially for complex use cases or new feature releases.

Implement QA processes and strategies for release cycles to improve efficiency and reduce time to production.

Identify, document, and track bugs, working with developers to resolve issues quickly.

Ensure that all aspects of the software meet high security, performance, and usability standards.

Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipeline testing integrations, ensuring that test results are reported promptly and accurately.

Requirements

Must have:

4+ years of experience in QA engineering or equivalent.

Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).

Strong experience with testing APIs (Postman, REST Assured) and end-to-end test automation.

Experience writing and executing test plans, documenting results, and managing test cases.

Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, with experience integrating test automation into them (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).

Experience with performance and security testing tools.

Strong understanding of testing methodologies: functional, regression, integration, unit, and exploratory testing.

Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (AWS preferred).

Solid understanding of bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub Issues) and agile methodologies.

Excellent collaboration skills: able to work with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless release process.

Nice to have:

Experience with performance testing (k6, Artillary, etc)

Familiarity with modern programming languages for test automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript, TypeScript).

Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) testing and tooling.

Experience in healthcare tech or compliance testing (SOC II + HIPAA).

Familiarity with database testing: SQL and NoSQL databases.

Tools You May Use

Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright for automation.

Postman, REST Assured for API testing.

Jenkins, GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.

Linear for bug tracking.

Docker for containerization.

AWS CloudWatch + Datadog + Sentry for monitoring.
