**Sounds great! What will I be doing? **🔎
The Automation Tester is a key member of the Platform Engineering team. The Platform Engineering team consists of several squads of developers, QA analysts, Product Managers and Infrastructure Engineers that are all working to deliver product and features to our players.
What will I be doing? (But in bullet points) 🧐
- Build, maintain and execute test automation packs against tombola websites, components, and environments (currently using Playwright).
- Ensure the reliability and upkeep of the automation test suite and all test environments and foster their use in the team.
- Review, refine and extend the inhouse automation framework by identifying issues or process improvements.
- Create monitoring and alerting tools within the test and staging environments where this makes valuable contributions and increases ‘up time’.
- Always be a champion for our customers; safer gambling must be a consideration at the inception of any project you participate in.
- Contribute to a culture in which the team can surface and discuss their ideas openly and considerately.
- Work as part of a team of Product Managers, Engineers, and Testers passionate about the delivery of products in alignment with key business areas, supporting the tribes long term technology strategies.
What does "good" look like for us? 😇
- Experience with automation tooling like Playwright, Selenium and Cypress, browserstack and TestProject is preferred.
- Understanding of the SDLC
- Understand and integrate test integration within CI/CD
- Self-motivated
- Passionate about testing, automation and process improvement
We would love you to have the following... but it's not essential 🤷♂️
- Working in regulated environments
- Experience of Agile working methodologies, including the use of JIRA.
- Experience of using management tools such as TestRail.
- Previously implemented automated testing frameworks and processes
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming in C# / .net
- Experience of SQL
